I feel like I should post something
Feb. 14th, 2010 08:50 amI haven't posted any fic in nearly a month and while I've been writing steadily, nothing is finished to post.
I feel like I should be posting something!
I've been working on my Dark Shadows fusion and I've got the rest of it outlined and plotted out so now it just needs to be written. Current word count = 27000. I'm not going to post until it's finished and when I do, i'm just gonna post a master link to completed chapters and people can read it [or not!] at their own pace.
And then I had this idea that I thought about using for my
dc_fireplace and I started that but then I had barely gotten the intro to the story done and I was at 8000 words so then I worried that wouldn't be finished in time. and I don't want to short change the story because I think it could be really good so I don't want to chop it off just to get it done.
So then I had another idea for my dc_fireplace so I started that and halfway through I worried that it wasn't Dean/Cas enough because the rules explicitly state it must be Dean/Cas focused. but I needed to finish it anyway. So that ones done now at 8000 words as well.
Does anyone care about the rules as much as me? are the rule makers going to smite me? I mean, the story has Dean and Cas being a family and it's mostly told from Dean's point of view. I think that counts but I get all paranoid that the mods will come back and be like "No! It's not Dean/Cas enough - entry REJECTED!" and then I'll be banned from posting ever again.
Ya, I'm a drama queen. who worries. a lot.
and i've not yet started the big_bang. sheesh.
