New Goal!

So I totally didn't finish my nanowrimo Dean/Cas story because halfway through the month I decided to Get Serious about looking for a new job and most of my free time was eaten up by job searching, resume posting, tweaking etc.

So! the new goal is to have my Dean/Cas Harlequin done by Christmas! because I totally need it done so I can start my supernova which is due in march and is supposed to be 100k long.

oops.

Dean/Cas is at abou 22000 words right now and I'm guessing I'm about 1/3 of the way into the story. They have met. They are starting to 'feel things' for one another and I'm about three -four scenes away from the First Sex Scene. I always plot out my harlequins the same way

• They meet
• they waffle over their feelings. They're confused. Do they feel what they feel?
• They realize that yes, there are 'feelings'
• they have sex
• The brief bit where they are kinda/sorta/gee!wow in a relationship almost!
• Something Bad Happens and threatens to break them up - this can be internal or external depending on how what I'm going for.
• Something Bad Gets Resolved
• Denouement of happy times

So, I'm at the They Realize There are Feelings stage just about to ramp into They have Sex.

Hmm. Perhaps Christmas is a bit... optimistic.
